I first learned Reiki in 1998 while raising two children as a single mom. At the time, life felt overwhelming. I was stressed, emotionally exhausted, and constantly carrying the weight of everything and everyone around me. Like many people, I was told to “just relax,” but nobody really explained how to do that when your nervous system is always on high alert.
When I found Reiki — or maybe Reiki found me — I was at a point where I was willing to try almost anything to feel better. What surprised me most was how gentle it was. There was no judgement, no pressure to be perfect, and no expectation that I had to become someone different. Instead, Reiki helped me begin exploring my own patterns, stress, emotions, and energy in a compassionate way. I had never experienced anything quite like it before.
Little by little, I started to feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to myself. Reiki became more than a healing practice for me. It became a way of understanding myself and navigating life differently.
Over the years, I’ve helped dozens of others through Reiki sessions, classes, and healing work. And after many life experiences and different paths along the way, I find myself here again — still teaching Reiki, still believing in it deeply, and still seeing the difference it can make in people’s lives.
There is truly nothing else quite like it. It's like learning a complete energy management system.
I stand behind this work because I trust the process, and I believe Reiki can help people reconnect with themselves in ways that are gentle, supportive, and deeply healing.
